Winter Cup – Week 3

We have been so lucky with the weather for this event, thanks to Manly & Browns Bay for hosting, and their volunteers.

The women have two games to play in their round robin, the Birkenhead Ladies have only dropped one game so are leading with 24 points NTOS +117, closely followed by Orewa’s Gail Bagnall with 21 points NTOS +43.

The men have completed their qualifying with the top two teams from each section playing a round robin next week at Browns Bay. Bowls Orewa’s David Eades & Peter Clarke’s teams will battle first game up, whilst Mairangi Bay Wayne Glogoski plays Beach Haven Garry Banks.
