PPL starts tonight

The Bowls North Harbour Power Play Pairs League starts tonight at  four venues across the North Shore. Similar in concept to the new Bowls New Zealand ‘Bowls3Five’ concept and the Australian BPL that many of you will be familiar with, it consists of two rounds of two set, five end games of pairs.  It is a great opportunity to get out and support your club over some fast, innovative, quick fire bowls action.

This weeks venues and playing teams are as follows:

Zone 1 – Orewa – Orewa Seagulls, Manly, Mahurangi East

Zone 2 – Helensville – Orewa Tuis, Helensville, Riverhead, Waimauku

Zone 3 – Takapuna – Takapuna, Belmont Park, Milford, Mairangi Bay

Zone 4 – Birkenhead – Birkenhead, Glenfield, Beach Haven, Northcote

Play will commence around 5:45 pm – get along and support your club in this exciting and innovative new format for bowls.
