Covid-19 Update from Bowls New Zealand

Auckland – Level 2

The restriction on mass gatherings rises from 10 people to 100 from midnight tonight. This applies to events at bowling clubs and centres, as well as any other venues. For clarity, Bowls New Zealand is no longer recommending any restriction on use of greens (rinks widths or number of players) under Alert Level 2 provided the maximum of 100 people is not exceeded.

All other current provisions, including the requirement for masks to be worn on public transport remain in place.

In addition, wearing a mask around people you don’t know in the community is considered a sensible precaution where practical.
