Covid-19 Community Resilience Fund Phase 2
To all Bowls North Harbour Clubs
As I’m sure you’re all aware the Community Resilience Fund Phase 2 (CRF2) opened on Monday 3rd August running for 5 weeks. It is designed to provide another opportunity for sports clubs to seek further financial relief due to Covid-19.
As of today only two of the Bowls North Harbour Clubs have taken up this opportunity to apply for funding relief.
With Auckland, Counties Manukau and North Harbour Clubs all being in level 3 lockdown for the past two and a half weeks I would have thought all bowling clubs in the region would have lost revenue due to no events, no bar sales and/or functions. All clubs in the region will be feeling the financial pressure and need assistance to ensure their sustainability going forward and with the new season fast approaching we’re going to need all the assistance we can get.
The Community Resilience Fund phase 2 (CRF2) has been extended in the Auckland region and will now close 5pm Friday 18 September. I encourage all Bowling Clubs in the Bowls North Harbour Centre to look at applying to the resilience Fund as soon as possible to ensure you don’t miss out.
Sport NZ have been extremely supportive of sports clubs and made the process as simple as possible so please click on the attached link below or go to the Aktive Sport website and click on the Covid-19 help drop down menu and follow the Community Resilience Funds phase 2 links.
Please take this opportunity to apply.
