BNZ Masters – Weather Update

There is to be a special meeting of the BNH Board and the BNH Master Match Committee this evening to discuss the BNH Masters and the weather forecast.

Matters being considered include:

  1. Auckland is currently in a state of emergency
  2. Our bowlers are 60 plus and are traveling from all round NZ to participate
  3. If the winds are as high as predicted, then we would not be bowling
  4. If the rain is as predicted, then we would not be bowling
  5. The is a potential health and safety risk
  6. If the event continues and the weather closes in, how do people get home and are they safe in their accommodation?
  7. Auckland EmergencyManagement are advising all not to be complacent
