Junior Bowlers from Northland, Auckland & Counties Manukau
For the attention of all Junior 1-5 and 1-8 bowlers at your Club.
The Board of Bowls North Harbour has unanimously agreed to open up our Centre junior programme to players from outside our region.
Our Junior Centre events will now be Open Events , and the winner will receive the title of Bowls North Harbour Open Junior Champion.
The Bowls North Harbour Centre Title will go to the highest placed North Harbour person/team in the event.
Bowls North Harbour are committed to developing junior bowls and invite all eligible junior bowlers to participate and compete in our region and chase an Open Junior Title.
Despite having record numbers in our Centre Junior Events last year we in BNH believe the growth of the sport is the most important aspect at junior level.
Team entries are for members of the same club.
Please see below dates of our events and attached are our entry forms –
Men’s & Women’s 1-5 Singles playing 3rd & 4th March – entries close 16th February
Men’s & Women’s 1-5 Triples playing 24th & 25th March – entries close 7th March
Men’s & Women’s 1-5 Pairs playing 26th & 27th May – entries close 9th May
Men’s & Women’s 1-8 Fours playing 16th & 17th June – entries close 30th May – this is the only 1-8 Year event.
Whilst some of the above dates may clash with your own Centre’s events, there could be some events that you are available to play in. Entry fee for all events is $20 per player, payable by direct credit. Prize money is paid at the conclusion of the event.
